The numerous lakes that are part of Lake Kanasuta only enhance the fishing quality. Furthermore, there are more than 20 additional lakes within a 20 km radius that are easily accessible and the fishing is great.

The fish species most commonly captured: yellow walleye (pickerel), sauger, northern and grass pike, perch, whitefish, lush, and grey trout.

The winter ice fishing season begins at the beginning of December, depending on safe ice conditions, and ends at the end of March. Try one of our numerous ice fishing huts which are heated and strategically placed where the fishing quality is excellent.
